Summits & Symposiums

U-M Annual Data Science & AI Summit

I led the marketing and communications strategy for the 2025 U-M Data Science and AI Summit, the university’s largest annual AI and data science event. I developed the summit’s brand and visual identity, creating a cohesive look and feel across all touchpoints.

From early promotion through post-event engagement, I executed an integrated campaign that drove record-breaking attendance, making it the most attended summit to date. I shaped the event narrative, elevated keynote speakers and university leadership, and delivered clear, compelling messaging across digital channels, web, email, and on-site materials.

The result was a highly visible event that showcased the breadth of U-M’s research and strengthened connections across its data science and AI community.

I led the marketing and communications strategy for the 2026 AI in Research Symposium, designing a targeted campaign that translated complex research into clear, actionable value for attendees. I developed audience-focused messaging that emphasized real-world application, positioning the symposium around “AI in practice” to resonate with researchers across disciplines.

My work included building and executing multi-channel campaigns across web, email, and digital promotion; creating compelling content to highlight keynote speakers, AI Journeys, and cross-disciplinary programming; and streamlining the registration experience to drive conversions.

I also supported on-site communications, ensuring a cohesive attendee experience from pre-event engagement through day-of execution. The result was a strong, highly engaged audience and a clear, consistent narrative that reinforced the symposium’s role as a hub for applied AI research at U-M.


2021 Spring Commencement

Captured the energy and pride of the 2021 U-M Commencement through a dynamic, digital-first storytelling approach designed to celebrate the Michigan Wolverines community at scale. Leveraged custom graphics, branded stickers, vertical video, and curated photography to create an immersive, shareable experience across platforms. The campaign blended real-time moments with polished visual assets, amplifying graduate voices and fostering connection among students, families, and alumni—delivering a vibrant, cohesive tribute to a milestone achievement.

City-Wide Activations

Afro Nation 2023 & 2024

As part of Bedrock’s sponsorship of the inaugural Afro Nation Detroit, I supported the development and execution of an integrated marketing and communications strategy to launch and grow the two-day festival at the historic Douglass Site in Brush Park.

Partnering with internal teams and external collaborators, I helped create and deploy a range of digital content designed to drive awareness, engagement, and ticket sales. This included social media campaigns highlighting festival announcements, Detroit’s cultural significance, and lineup reveals, as well as targeted promotional efforts tied to headliners and performers.

To further expand reach and connect authentically with music audiences, I collaborated with a local performing DJ to develop a Spotify audio ad promoting the festival.

These efforts contributed to a combined attendance of more than 60,000 guests across the 2023 and 2024 events, establishing Afro Nation Detroit as a standout cultural experience in the city.


Detroit Month of Design

I led the social media strategy for Detroit Month of Design, developing a content approach that captured the energy and diversity of the city’s creative community.

I built and executed a multi-platform plan that combined curated visuals, partner amplification, real-time event coverage, and storytelling to highlight designers, events, and installations across the city. By aligning messaging with key moments and leveraging collaborations with local organizations and creators, I increased engagement, expanded audience reach, and strengthened the activation’s digital presence.

The strategy positioned social media as a central hub for discovery, connection, and participation throughout the month-long activation.
